Good thing I had an extensive energy retrofit the year before!
That one day pulled up our daily average usage by 0.5 kWh for the whole year.

Well, if you look at it that way, we're only a hair higher than you: 52.3 kWh/day, averaged over the last 3 years.That one day pulled up our daily average usage by 0.5 kWh for the whole year.
Our highest months are 2.3 - 2.4 MWh, our lowest months are around 1.0 MWh.
