I have a Mt Vernon AE that is only happy with Turmans and I cannot find them anywhere near me. I am in Saylorsburg, PA (Near Stroudsburg). has anyone spotted these anywhere besides Cozy Barn in Wind Gap? They say they are not getting them until Jan., and that isn't going to work. My pellet stove is sad... :(

I would try and test a few other brands see how they work for ya if you find one that gets you by make like it better

I was just at Cozy Barn and they had Hammers.....supposed to be a great pellet. I tried the Turmans last year and I still keep going back to the Lignetics from Miller Ace Hardware....Still have to try Hammers though.

Try others that they offer. Your wait may by in vain otherwise and there are plenty of quality pellets to be found. Scor'em now though! Cubex are supposed to be well received by Turman users, but I bought some bags to try and they suck in my stove. Maybe yours will love them.

No Cubex around here. Mostly crap. Hamers are the WORST in this stove. I don't get all the fuss over those. Tons of clinkers and black soot. Leaning towards Barefoot (which are ashy) and also the $$$$ Cleanfire Pacific from wood pellets dot com if I can't find anything decent. Tired of burning crap and having to dump the ash bin every day. I also tried the Keystone pellet from cozy barn but they also seem to be dirty burning.

HA! Found Turmans and my wallet hurts really bad now. 3 tons from Wingle Supply in Branchburg NJ, $295 a ton. Also bought 3 tons of Barefoot for $290 a ton from Agway in Sciota and they are in my driveway on my trailer. Heh... I guess I'm officially a pig now.
