Just picked up a used P38+. Obtained all literature from Harman, gave her a good cleaning. One question, How many firebricks does this stove take? Right now there is just one laying horizontally behind the burn pot, looks like it takes more? anyone have this stove and could maybe help out or send me a picture of what this stove is supposed to look like inside? Thanks!
 
My P43 only takes one as well, same body as your P38+.

anybody here know what makes the P43 5k btu bigger than the P38? burn pot, auger motor? both?
 
I believe in Turbo mode the P38+ does 43K btu. Newer ones don't think so..
 
I think they feed rate is slightly higher on a P-43, and the MAIn difference was always the Auto ignite.
