Good evening all-
Due to some changes occurring in the Blue household, I'm out on my own renting a place.

Place I looked at today had this insert... Landlord hasn't a clue what it is and called it a "closed-in fireplace." Told me I can use it as I please, but wouldn't let me take the surround off to look at labeling.

Any ideas on a make/model/anything? There is no exterior labeling of any kind.

Looks like a Regency. Remove the blower unit from the bottom of the ash lip by pulling it straight out.
The labelling should be behind the blower.

Thanks Daksy!

Forgive my ignorance, but I know NOTHING of the Regency... Manufacturer?

Firebox looks tiny... I could prob fit the entire unit inside my 30.

Thanx Hogz.... firebox looks bitty, but maybe I'm just spoiled by my 30. Doesn't LOOK like 2.3cf....

Maybe be 2.3 including area of burn tubes and above. Some figures by manufacturers can be very misleading.

I think I have the Hampton version. You can load N/S I like it a lot. I think I measured it once, and it might be just a tiny tad under 2.3.

The landlord did his homework, and so did I. It IS the I2400, and was used by past homeowner. So, there goes the heat bill!
