I normally just use damp paper towels. Saw Rutland in a post, checked it out, but , cant get myself to pay $7.00 for a bottle and $13.00 to ship it...So...How do you clean your glass?:)

Dip damp paper towel in ash and clean away. For the really tough brown staining I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Anyone know if Rutland is sold in stores or a similar product?

You can use ceramic stove top cleaner as well without fear of scratching, seems to be similar to Rutland and cheaper.

Ditto. I grab Madame DeFarge's stove-top cleaner whenever the pellet stove is cold and it cleans up very well. Plus, it claims to seal "micro-pores" in ceramic glass and keeps the glass cleaner, longer.

I just use a wet paper towel and the ash that's on the glass to scrub it when cold. Then follow up with a clean dry one. 3 years and good as new. Never used anything else.

I used Speedy White for years but the place where I bought it went out of business so I switched to Rutland. I can get Rutland at Mennards or the local lumber store. Some Walmarts may have Speedy White. These are the two best products that I have found for pellet stove glass cleaning.

Like others I use a paper towel dipped in hot water clean all the ash off, then repeat to get it completely clear

Rutland user here too.

I use this stuff, works great. Cost about $9.

I got the rutland glass cleaner at Tractor Supply.....works well

Thanks all

Anyone use something called Fireview? I had a spray bottle of it for my woodstove, worked great even for stubborn stains on the glass. Alas, cannot remember where I bought it -- time for an on-line search.

Glass Cleaner Plus on cold stove glass.

I've been using the Rutland. It works well and a bottle lasts a really long time. My bottle is 2 years old (and still going) after cleaning the glass once a week.
It can be had here at a reasonable price.

Thanks Harvey...have a tough time paying double because of shipping.

Baby wipes.

When our kids are done with diapers, ill buy the wipes just for the stove glass!
