About 5 months ago our dog Bella (avatar) suddenly passed. We won"t forget her.
Recently my daughter and I decided to get another dog, she found this beautiful girl at a local rescue.
She is a 8 month old GSD/ husky mix. She has one blue eye and one yellow eye (heterochromia).
She is doing very well and settling in nicely.

She looks lovely :)

Congrats on the new pup! They usually possess a completely opposite set of traits of their predecessor, just to test your patience ;lol
Good luck with her!

Beautiful pup girl!! Congratulations!

Congrats on the new pup! Looks stately, solid, and alert.

We had a siberian husky that got knocked up by a boxer. Kept the one pup with heterochomia, he was a great dog. Goofy looking mix, though!

Best of luck with the pup. We too lost our old guy and started over this year. She has taught us how wonderful a well trained adult dog is. There is a reason they make puppies so cute.

Great looking dog!! Good on you for getting a shelter pup. Life without a dog would be very unfulfilling for me - but I would have more shoes!! My newest pup loves to eat them

Love the new pup stories here, so many are shelter / rescue dogs - good for you. Nice pup, hope everything goes great....

congrats!! Super cute!

Congrats on the pound puppy - always glad to hear when one finds a good home. She's a good looking girl. Our new dog is a GSD that is supposed to have some lab in her - not that I can see. Previous owner got her and didn't give her the time & attention she needed. Her behaviour has improved a lot since we first got her but still can be stubborn!

Hope you and your daughter enjoy your new best bud... Remember patience when things get chewed up!

Or when they mark your newly built super PC and short it out or bury your new Rx eyeglasses in the woods.... I put them up high on the car but they slid off from the frost and a breeze... he loves to grab my gloves and winter hats and hide them on me too! Lol....

We had a small problem with cords that were near her corner where her bed is ... daughter's notebook and hubby's laptop. Obviously no shocks otherwise she would have stopped after the first one:confused:

Thanks for all the kind words. Well we have had her for 3 weeks now, and she is doing just great.
She has been very well behaved, no chewing, accidents or excessive barking. She is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. Here are some more pics.
