New England (MA, CT, ME, NH, VT, RI) Millbury, MA - TSC

TSC in Millbury has approx. 20 to 30 tons available. The kid behind the counter mentioned that the price just went up. This surprised me since their inventory seems to be moving rather slowly compared to the other suppliers in the area.

Three brands available all $254.50/ton or $5.29/bag:

Pure Fire
Lignetics

They also had "Premium Wood Pellets" by AWF and also Inferno Gold. I believe they were both 80/20 blends.

amazes me with the price of fuel going down that the price of pellets are going up...

Probably around the same time gas was $.89/gallon! I miss those days!! Now I'm paying $310/ton pellets and $3.10/gallon of gas!

TSC doesnt deliver. Ha. How the heck does one get 5 tons from TSC to home without taking multiple trips?

Pellet making requires a lot of electricity most electrical generation in the NE is done with NG. While NG is plentiful its distribution is not. NG prices are up in the northeast because of that which has caused higher electric rates which gets pushed down to the consumer.
