Hudson: Timber feet 237.50
Westborough: Green Teams 299.00
Worcester: Atlantic Forest: 237.50, North American 237.50

Anyone heard of Timber feet or North Atlantic?

With a 10% coupon, I am looking at about $215 a ton which is enticing. Anyone had any experience with these new brands?

Lowes told me negative on the 10% off coupon at Hudson as they considered the "contractor pack" to be a discount already. I was not thrilled.

depends on who you go to. ive done it a few times and usually if your persistent enough they give in and let the 10% go. the one i went to last year westborough was a young dude and he could have given 2 s$$ts

I have been told the same, when buying by the ton. And some are able to use the 10% off coupon with a different clerk.
The days of the computer, is so interesting, almost like the slot machines. Love them all.

Nation's Choice is at Home Depot too for $239/ton. Lowes should price match or just get it from Home Depot. No point in paying more for the same pellets.

Probably came from the same supplier on the same truck. Simple price gouging is all, just like price fluctuations during previous gas shortages. I hope the fall stays relatively mild until they start choking on their pellets. I understand that panic buying and short supply to meet new demand has caused most of this problem but it would be great to see the gougers stuck with large inventories a month from now.

I can't imagine paying $270/ton for mediocre pellets and $349/ton for Green Team. Makes me sick to think about it. Here's to hoping oil prices continue to fall and they can take all their crap pellets and choke on it!

Agree with the above posters. A 17% price increase is ridiculous. Even the Garden mgr told me he was surprised. He said they thought would go up $.10-$.20/big not $.50-$.60. But he stated like everything else they don't make the decisions at store level.
I told him I'd see him for other things but not pellets. I'll go to HD first from now on for items and if they don't have it I'll check Lowes. Never a fan of price gouging.
