hello, can someone with this stove explain the flame characteristics on medium. I seem to be getting a low flame more often than not. It will burn three inches above the burn pot for 20-30 seconds and then die down for a few minutes and rise again. Is this normal? I'm thinking I might have to adjust the feed rate? Thanks in advance.

To set your flame height, you need the stove set on high. When on high, the flame should be about 4" above the pot. It will fluctuate up and down some. Check page 23 of your manual for fire characteristics and feed rate adjustment instructions. And remember, it will take approximately 15 minutes between adjustments for feed to catch up. kap

That temperature sounds fine, I usually see 130-160, depending on the pellet. It also varies a lot based on where you measure it (some tubes are hotter than others, and some seem to get more airflow than others).
