Ok, so im new to the pellet stove world. We just bought a used stove, it starts up feeding pellets good and has a high flame putting out good heat.after a little while the heat will turn to warm n stay between worm n cool never goes back to hot air blowing out. Flame fluctuates high low, pellets dont come out as fast as whem it first startes. Ive tested the auger motors they work, all the rubber vacuum hoses look to be new the previous owner replaced gaskets around door n glass. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

So its done with start up mode. As soon as the start up mode is done flame goes down and pellets slow down. Pellets dont come out any faster on 9 then on 1

8-8 should be throwing out some serious heat. What are the bottom 3 buttons set at and what year was the stove made? You can check the hopper lid for the date it was made.

You could try opening the feed gate at the bottom of the hopper a bit more....provided that there is one there.

The prior owner may have run the stove with a thermostat If you are not using a thermostat, is the jumper wire in place?

As Swine said...if the wire isn't there, it will go into low burn if you aren't using a thermostat.

I had a feeling it would have something to do with thermostat i looked to see if tgere was a manual/ auto switch. So the wire would help then ill try tgat. The feed gate is fully opened

Glad to hear you got it going. Welcome to the world of pellet heat!

Another Pellet Mill Success story!
You'll love your stove.
