What is the difference between a husqvarna and a jonsered?

A few vowels and consonants . . . and color.

The difference is lay chainsaw users will tell you that Husqvarna is crap because it's sold at Home Depot, and that they've never heard of Jonsered so it must be worse than a Craftsman saw.

Today's Jonsered chainsaws are made by Husqvarna, and internally are the same as an Husqvarna saw. There are old Jonsered saws that have nothing to do with Husqvarna.

In addition to having a red & black color scheme on Jonsereds, some of the covers have a different shape and the wrap handle is at a right angle to the bar. On Husqvarna saws, the wrap handle is more angled.
