englader 25 pdv I'm burning hardwood pellets I have the factory setting on the stove as 5-9-1 it seems the stove was over feeding the burn pot and not letting the pellets burn fully and pushing them off the burn pot and jamming everything up..... I tried adjusting the feed rate down to 3 still having some issue lowered it even more im at the point im down to the low feed rate at 1 I checked to make sure the burn pot had no build up everything seems fine outside air is good also I'm stumped seems like a constant battle with this stove
 
Have you ever called the 1800 number and talked to a service rep? The reason I ask is if you are having a constant battle with the stove you might really benefit from their expertise . They know the different settings for each model and year.
 
Yes and they told me to check all the door gaskets and window gaskets which I did and they are fine also burns with a lot of soot I clean it every day after work..... Tried different pellets and the fire gets out of control because it seems it's just over feeding I don't get it
 
I have it vented with a duravent 3 inch vent kit thru the wall and up the side of the exterior wall with the weather head everything that was included with the kit
 
A couple of things first 5-9-1 seems way out of line for that stove you have the low end of the feed set at half of total to start with call England Stove Works and ask for Mike Holton.

Since this is a new to you stove I;ll bet is actually a used unit and likely needs a very deep cleaning. Have you got the cleaning information for the stove and a new gasket set?
 
When I called englander that is the settings for the stove that they gave me and u are correct it is a used stove a family member gave to me as they were moving into a new home and didn't want to take it with them..... I checked all gaskets the door with a dollar bill and was told by the rep to check the glass with a lighter to see if the flame was sucked in everything check out.... I'm gonna tear it all apart again but I cleaned it like crazy before I installed it I'm just lost don't know what else to do
 
I'll try calling englander again but called last week and sat on hold for like a hour and a half for someone to even get to me
 
Make sure combustion motor spins free when you take it out to clean,however it still may be bad.If you pm mike(you can look his contact in members section) he will call you,may save being on hold.

There are more gaskets than the door and glass. ISTR a burn pot gasket on those units but I might not be remembering correctly (old age does that sometimes).

Thank u very much... and u are correct there is a burn pot gasket and that also is ok I'm also going to rip the combustion motor off tom and clean it again just to be sure and get that out of the way.... I know it's going to be something stupid as always but it's killing me.... Lol
 
I just have to get it corrected because I'm having these issue on low....if I have to crank it up I'll be in big trouble and it suppose to be cold here in PA next week and I'm relying on this stove as my primary source of heat.... Trying not to use oil at all only as a last resort!!

Depending upon things it is also possible the controller is set in the wrong burn mode (stranger things have happened and that is why I want you to talk with the folks at ESW).
 
got that last PM so I have the alert showing, i'll give you a jingle sometime tomorrow, you gonna be around any particular part of the day? I can tell you it gonna be busy in my call center tomorrow (early season rush and a Monday) so if there is a part of the day when it may be harder to catch you in let me know by PM so I can work around that timeframe
