If anybody is looking, tractor supply in vernon ct said they were getting a truck load of softies tonight, $249 a ton. No idea what they are, tsc labeled she said.
They have a few tons of hardwood and 80% mix in stock as of 1 pm today.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll stop tomorrow and check them out. I checked the UPC on the TSC brands in Enfield the other day and it showed up as lignetics (sp). Just got my stove installed and have a come haha of Tsc, heatrs, fireside and green supreme to test run but I need some pellets fast. Heard rumor that Aubachins prices were going up this weekend

Hmmm...TSC bagged softies? That's new. AFAIK they only have 100% hardwoods like lignetics and blends like MWP in those bags, no softies though. If you stop by there, see if you can grab any details or a UPC, would be *very* interested to know what they are. The only softies I have seen in large quantities at TSC this year are Pure Fires, but they are in their own brand bags, not TSC bags, Also the price of $249 is odd since TSC is at $270/ton these days, and they typically don't do tiered pricing, all of their pellets (regardless of brand or type) are the same SKU and price. Interesting find for sure...if you go go by there, see what you can dig up?

Ran down to vernon TSC at lunch and they had about 50 ton of pellets outside the fence, mostly North American Pellets and some TSC branded. They had at least another 50 ton inside the fence and they were NAP and TSC. The TSC barcode matched the picture I took in Enfield last weekend and it is 013238000612 and when I searched it in comes back to Lignetics.

The price was $269 a ton and $5.59 a bag.

I'll check my notes when I get home, but I'm sure she said $249, could be wrong.
Jim, not familiar with those brands , are any softwood?

Thanks Jim, that is very consistent with what I have seen as well. For what it's worth, I picked up some of those TSC bagged lignetics a few weeks ago and they are great! Fantastic heat and very manageable ash. Definitely a great product.

Thanks for the info ttdberg. Being I just got my stove installed and I am all new to this and way behind the curve i need to get a ton or two of something and so far all I can find around me is TSC, NAP, Inferno (which seems like a huge no no from what i read), Heatr's (got them in the stove now) and Green Supreme. Lignetics seems to get good reviews so I might take a chance on the TSC brand while i search out something like LAcrete, Hammers or one of the other higher end pellets. All kind of confusing, but it was nice waking up to a warm house with no furnace running.

I don't think you will be disappointed with those Lignetics. Let me know what you think of the Heat'rs. I thought they burned very clean, low ash, but I did not get great heat out of them, the lignetics burn much hotter. Of the other brands at TSC you mentioned - I would avoid them, personally. If you can find some Hamers or LaCretes, quite certain you would be very happy with those too.
