I am stooked about my P68 and pellet heating. Got me thinking which usually costs me money. I love the Harman but can not spring the wallet wide enough for another presently for various reasons. The wife is all warmed up, happy, and cozy so I am going out onto another limb.

I am now in the market for another less expensive pellet stove to heat another area of the house and my "clean" workshop adjacent. I am looking at the 55TRP20 and the 55TRPIP 2,200 sq ft units that amfmenergy has. I might be able to go with the 55TRP10 that does 1,500 s.f. The wife will get a little miffed but I survived the last time. The price of these (10=$799, 20=$999 to $1,449 for a new PIP with shipping and OAK) is very fair and my budget can swing it.

I spoke with Andy this AM and have also been combing Craigslist etc; Not finding any decent deals within a 4 hr one way drive. I need some education on these stoves please. Any and all comments welcome.

Thanks, Jesse

Might want to put something about Timber Ridge/Englander in the title to get more attention. Personally I liked the pellet junkie line...

Englanders are good, simple, heat producing stoves. The stoves are easy to fix and for the most part, very reliable. AMFM sells refurbished stoves. IIRC, the refurbishing is done at the Englander factory. You really can't go wrong with one of these units. My 2 cents.

I had run across those in my search for an upstairs stove and was interested in how they perform and hold up. I guess after my last Englander experience (bought used, got 2 burns of a couple hours each, then combustion blower went south), I am just a little leery about that brand. However, refurb'ed or new stoves are different than used ones.

I agree. How can I edit the title? Went to edit and it only allows for editing the message. Couldn't find anything to change the thread title.

To be honest, haven't had to do that yet ... can be done as some of the other posts I have suggested the same and they were able to change them.

(Edit: From another thread that got locked - no Prius;lol Chev Aveo, Spark, 1/2 ton Silverado)
