UPC question

I use an APC XS1500 with a pair of 90aH marine batteries for about 8 hours run time.

If you search the forum, you'll find many threads on this subject. There seems to be an ongoing debate about whether or not all stoves or particular stoves need pure sine wave electricity to function properly. Some say that using approximated sine can shorten the life span of delicate electronics, like the main board of your stove.

All that being said, I decided not to risk it and invest a little more on a pure sine wave ups. It's the same brand as the one you linked to, but slightly larger battery capacity and pure sine output.

I removed its own internal batteries and wired in the marine batteries in their place.

APC which stands for American Power Conversion is a brand of UPS which stands for Uninterruptible Power Source.

I have this exact unit. Works perfectly and I get 30-45 min of run time.

I should also add, I initially had a modified sine wave inverter from APC and the motors sounded awful.
