Not that it will help any of you fix noise issues but my new 49-shc22 developed an intermittent vibration after only a few days of operation. This occured when the stirrer motor operated but not every time it was turning. What I found was that the edge of the stirrer motor rests on a perch which is lined with a few thin strips of gasket material for cushion. The motor had chaffed it's way through the material until there was metal on metal contact. I used some high heat RTV to make a 1/4" cushion between the two and the vibration is gone. Now the stove just sounds like a box fan running with the occasional clink of pellets dropping.
