woodStove glass cleaning

Guys,
I have a question y'all might be able to help answer. Ive been approached by a Glass Product company and they have a process they sell that "seals" glass and plexiglass to the point that cleaning is just a water wipe away. No more scrubbing. I suggested an application to a stove as a test for use and they are conducting testing currently.

My question is if this product/service were marketed would you be interested if it kept your stove glass clean for say 4 years between applications for maybe $5-$8 each time ?

Eventually everything will be nano coated for applications like this. Cell phones are now. Might not be worth the effort to remove the glass (not to mention shipping the glass for processing) for this process but better to be incorporated in the glass prior to manufacturing and assembly into a stove.

The Manufacturing process market sometimes gets driven by the end user demand. Sometimes the other way around. both are markets under consideration though. Im not involved with either at this point, just trying to assess if there is need for some product or service for that application.

they are currently marketing to solar panel manufacturers and the results are pretty solid. between 6 and 18 percent increase in efficiency because nobody ever cleans them. once applied you don't have to for a few years.

how often do you need to "ash scrub" the glass...and if you only had to water spray the glass does that make it more attractive?>
