Problem with VC encore Cat/noncat

So I'm going with the Jotul F500 Oslo. The height was an issue with any other Jotul, and it puts out 5,000 more BTU than my encore does. Burn time is 9 hrs, as opposed to 10 with the VC. From what I've read, I think I'll like it.
