One of the main reasons I decided to and a OAK was the fact that the stoves needs oxygen to burn, and would be in my living room. First thing in the morning with stove running constant all night. Not the greatest pic but you get the idea.

No, sorry, but I really don't................ what IS the idea ????????

I meant the pic isn't the greatest but you can see that the co2 level is very low with the oak supplying fresh air to the stove.

What did it read before the OAK?

Last year it was over 1000

Im going to plead ignorance can someone explain why the CO2 level in the house would change if you did or didnt use a oak. Air is going to be replaced if you dont have a oak it will come from somewhere.

What moey said.

I don't see what having an OAK influences the co2 level in the room.

NOSH recommendations - 1000 ppm : indicates inadequate ventilation; complaints such as headaches, fatigue, & eye/ throat irritation will be more widespread. 1000 ppm should be used as an upper limit for indoor levels.

Seems like there would be less CO2 without the OAK since a draft of fresh air would be getting pulled into the house...
Have you bought any house plants since last year?

No new plants.
