hey gommer ya know what's in my stove, why wood pellets that's what is in my stove ;-P

Cool .. figured there must be DC equivalents ...
Is there a list of part numbers from these listed DC motors for a P68 Harman ?

Iv not seen a schematic of the Harman control board .. i would think it already runs on DC ...
 
Hestia has a couple Pabst fans and a couple cheap gear motors.

Nope the motors in the Harman P68 are all AC.
 
AmericanEnergySystems has both AC/DC versions of at least one of their stoves.

You have to look at the technical manuals to be certain.

The controllers frequently use both DC and AC with the DC side being the brains and sensor logic and the AC side powering the igniter and motors.
 
From what i can see from pics of the controller ...

yes it is DC controller .. using SCR's to activate the AC to AC devices ..

im at least hopeing that some one has already knows of a DC motor with the correct shaft size and rotation speed...
 
Another thing to look at is grade of parts the companies can be making a cheaper lower grade part for one stove and a higher end more expensive part for another.even though they are made by the same company
