P35i.

Typically leave my feed rate at 3 when burning Spruce Points. Run the stove in stove temp mode at heat setting 1.5. We stay at a nice and toasty 77-79.

Accentra FS
Max Feed 2.5 (Chows)
Room Temp Auto (72 Degs.)
Fan on High
House at 72-74 Degs.
Burning mini logs (pellets) since 2008.

Does running the fan adjustments on high make the stove more efficient? Does the stove compensate if you lower the fan setting? The stove is oversized for the square footage so it rarely runs at max output.

2nd season with P43
Feed rate 3.5
Room temp/manual (only use auto to do first burn and after every bi-weekly shutdown for cleaning)
Temp-80 (the safety in case the Skytech fails)
Temp Control- Skytech 3301p wireless
Fan- between middle and H
Greene Team pellets
27 outside currently, nice comfy 70 all over small 1600sq ft cape

Most of the time I run on auto/room temp Max/temp set to 70/feed rate 3. I've been turning it down to 60-65 when I go to work. Seems to be maintaining my house in the low 60's without using a bunch of pellets. Depending on how cold it is, I usually turn the temp knob to Max when I get home to get the house back up to a comfortable temp.

I keep mine on auto temp set to 70. I'm not concerned about the ignitor. I'd rather save
tons of pellets over time than have it constantly burning them when not needed ;-)

Exactly, 3 years in and I haven't had any issue with my ignitor - not sure what the worry is about

Still working on getting it dialed, think i need to mess with the thermostat location:

1900 Sq. Ft. Dutch Colonial

Accentra 52I

- Auto Ignition
- Temp at 63 at night and day. 68 afternoon and weekends
- Feed Rate 3.75/4 Cubex
- Fan Speed 1/2 normally sometimes high. Depends on the situation.
- Normally about 2 deg. colder upstairs.

The posts on here and elsewhere showing people's ignitors going in the first year or two. My worry is admittly not based on first hand knowledge and only speculation.

Again, I feel like auto-ignite feature in general is finicky unless it's pretty clean. In the shoulder months it seems more difficiuly to keep the ignitor clean and functional. I just had my firebox changed out to the latest design (no holes on the side) so maybe it will be less finicky.
