I too rustled some feathers on that one but I say it like it is. At 71, I am well past butt kissing and stroking someone's ego. I tell it like it is and let the chips fall.

I'm offended by people who are always being offended and at 68 I flat don't care who is anymore. Being offended has become a cottage industry in this nation and I refuse to play. As tjnamtiw said, at 68 I'm well past caring what other people think of my opinions. I try to stick to facts but ego-stroking and butt-kissing are for high school cliques. I don't mind being told I'm wrong or having my opinions factually challenged but unless I run buck naked down the street or insult someone people are kindly invited to take being garden-variety offended down the hall.
