The replacement upgraded 3 knob circuit board, for Harman P38+, does it go into shutdown mode when the power goes out, when fed off a backup power supply ?? Does modified sine wave or pure sine wave make a difference ??

Surprised no one got back to you ... hopefully someone with a Harman can answer this for you.

Can only tell you what mine does. If there is a power interruption and the stove is operating it goes into shutdown until it either calls for heat, in which case it redunes feeding and firing w/o the ignitor powering up, or turns off totally and waits for the room sensor to call for a restart. Depends on how cold it is outside. We have a backup genny that auto-starts in 30 seconds but that, or less, is apparently all it takes to reset the cycle.

If your backup power supply is a UPS try unplugging the UPS when the stove is operating.
