Was there something I read somewhere recommending using stainless bolts in place of the originals on a new stove before you put it in service. Or am I just nuts and did not read that anywhere. Tks

think I read that also somwhere last winter..
wondering if it would void any waranty just for the fact that you modified the appliance..

I doubt that it would void the warranty. Most likely it would not even be noticed. I believe I finally remembered what I read. That was to remove the impeller on the exhaust fan and put anti seize on it as well as changing the allen screw to stainless and using anti seize on the threads.. At least that is what I remember.

wonder how many or few owners do that.

What bolts are you talking about?
