Hello everyone, I don't know if this is the right spot to post this or not but I have a jotul 118b original(made in Norway is stamped on back), and I was wondering what the current vale of this model is? I have read that it can be anywhere from $800-$1200 depending on the condition of it but I am not 100% sure. It is in overall good condition except it does has a crack in the side panel inserts, the out side of the unit is in excellent condition, no cracks at all and very clean as is the inside no ash or creosote of any sort. (I just took it all apart and cleaned it today.) I believe someone could get another 2 or 3 seasons out of it before the cracks really need to be brazed or welded.

just took these, let me know if anyone would like more

The burn plates are definitely coming up on replacement time. They might make one more season. How does the baffle look? If that is in good shape figure on $4-500 resale value. With new burnplates it could be as high as $800 right now in peak season.

Yeah - those plates are a little long in the tooth. Like BG says - as it sits you are probably in the 400 range. Maybe a little more.

yeah I put it up there for $475 also on craigslist too but no luck yet, I dropped it to $425 so I can get rid of it as soon as possible. I have a baby on the way so I need the extra money quick so I can finish getting ready for that.
