I bypassed vaccum switch, snap disc #2.I cleand out hopper and auger. The thermocouple seems to have continuity. I blew out vaccum hose.Don't tell me it could be an auger motor,I already changed 1 out on my MT AE this week.Exhaust blower comes on.
kappel15 is the Quad man to go to for answers ... Have you searched the forum for hints on trouble shooting (search box at top of page)? #3 snap disc needs to be reset? Thermocouple issues?
Do you know someone you can test your control box in their stove? Cheapest way to find out. And always unplug stove before removing or installing control box, or you will toast it. kap
Going to dealer tommorrow with control board, and they can test it, or put it in one of their stoves and see what it does. The date on the control box is12/08 and this stove is supposedly 3yrs old so.If it's junk then I bet I get 1 for nothing seeing I only put 12 bags through it.I know I bought it used 2 weeks ago,but I spend a lot of $$$ with these people,as I've bought 3 stoves and a hottub from them.
I put in new thermocouple, one I took out had a bare spot on wire where it exits the firebox.Another thing was a communication issue with the thermostat and receiver.I also didn't know you had to prime the auger by pressing the reset button a bunch of times. So I'm back up and running again. thanks for the responses.
Well still had an issue, everytime stove wanted to startup I would have to hit reset button.I put a new vac switch in and wallah it's finally runn right.
