I came home from work tonight, walked into the house and it was like walking off a plane in Florida in August. The house was 85 degrees! My 17 year old daughter turned every knob to the max on the stove because she was cold. Do they make a parental control for Harman stoves? :) I would just tell her not to touch it but she's a teenager. They have selective hearing.

At least they didn't turn the thermostat all the way up for the oil fired boiler :ahhh: Home heating oil jumped .50 cents a gallon in the last 2 weeks and is now over $3.00 a gallon in my area!!!!!!! Over $700.00 to fill the tank!!!!!!

Take heart, at least she didn't wreck your car or introduce you to her new fiancee named Bubba. I do the same things and keep threatening to shut the boiler off at the safety switch if she doesn't leave it off. Of course neither her or her mother can figure out how to light a fire in a pellet stove. Gee I only have a propane torch with auto start hot enough to braze with sitting there but its just too much. Stereotypes my ear, BLONDS.

Good point Pelletheat...Actually, thats what motivated me to get the pellet stove. I have a 275 gallon oil tank that just got filled a month ago and it was $500. Talk about getting overheated!

:) Much better than giving your green to the oil man.
Mine is now charging 3.10 a gallon and only going up
from there. Scary! :ahhh:
