They are selling for $6.99 a bag at Benny's.

Dude, you can't get a pellet at any big box store in SE CT right now. I have two tons of platinums from Fireside Supply in Colchester and I was trying to find something to compare em to, but no one has anything.

Yeah it is crazy in SE CT. HD, Lowes all out.... TSC in Old Saybrook is selling Easy Heat... ugh.

The Pawcatuck TSC has easy heat, instant heat, north American, tsc bagged, big heat, and pure fire all in qty. I stopped by today to check the situation. There may even be another brand I am forgetting. They were unloading a trailer of the tsc red bagged ones while I was there. The Westerly RI HD has some Heat'rs left.

Westerly HD has Heat'rs, going to grab a couple of bags tonight and try them out.

Nice thing about TSC is they are not gouging like competitors, all bags are the same price, $5.49 last time I checked.

So TSC had some new softwoods, Big Heat. I wanted to buy a bag but the kid said they were selling those by the ton only. They have a different sku because they are more expensive but he couldn't tell me how much. I'm gonna call tomorrow. Picked up a bag of North Americans to test out a blend. My two ton I have already are softs and are burning well as far as I can tell.

So they are telling me Big Heats are 5.29 a bag or which is 265 a ton. Thats much cheaper than te Okanagan Platinuns I'm burning now.

Anyone know anything about these? Minimal reviews on here, all are from last year or older. Some are scary. My stove does better with soft woods. People are reporting lots of heat and minimal ash from them. TSC won't sell me a bag, only a ton. Thoughts?

Heat'rs are back at Home Depot in Waterford. $249 a ton.

My son just saw a bunch of 100% softwood AWF for $249/ton at a local HD in MA and they also had Stove Chow's for the same price.
