Cant find in my manual what this is about. I went out to check the fire, was wondering what tank temp was up to and the fan wasnt running. I thought that was odd knowing it should have needed to run for about 1.5 hrs or so yet. I looked at the screen and its blinking damper.

Anyone know what this is about? There is no damper on the Garn, I didnt purchase one for the intake yet.

Thanks

Don't know garns, but is there a pressure switch on the intake, or in the intake exhaust system? If there is it could be a plugged / obstructed intake or exhaust.

That's an electronic fault of some kind. Have you disconnected power to the control to try and clear it?

No there is not. There is only a EGT sensor. Nothing fancy on a Garn. That is part of the reason I decided to get one. Unless there is a amp meter built into the circuit for the exhaust fan and it noticed an increase in amps while operating?

Thanks

If there is no damper connected to the system it simply means the control brain is messed up. Thinking something is there when it is not.
Killing the power should clear it. Let me know if it doesn't.

Update I did turn the power off to the controller. It did reset fine. Would love to know why it did that. Beginning to think I got a faulty controller. Last yr was the first year for it. Last year the GFCI quit working on my game I had to replace it. One other time the relay stuck and the fan never shut off. I then had to change the relay. Anyone else ever have these issues?

Thanks

Mine is only a month old and the fan won't shut off, I'm checking into it

Mine just started doing it last night. Went out this morning and the fan was still running after a firing last night. Turned the power off to the controller thinking it might shut the inducer fan off. No such luck.

I'll second that!
Sent an e-mail to Keith last night after seeing his post. Got a call from him first thing this morning (as well as the sales rep. Mr. Holley). The problem appears to be a minor issue of a relay sticking.
I was told to monitor the issue and if it persists, I would be sent whatever replacement parts required to rectify the issue.
Not only is this an impressive piece of equipment, it is backed by a sales and support team that stand behind their product 100%
A++

I'll have more info later, but fired my Jr up the other day. Had a few questions and called Keith at Dectra. Actually called him a few times. I'm a little thick headed. But he was very good at answering my questions. Quick, simple(which i need), answers.

Same with my Tarm when I have a question. Nothing better than talking to the manufacturer/seller of equipment.
