anybody hear of heaters pellets?? R they any goods??
I'm about half way thru a ton of them and can't complain.a bit ashy but decent heat no clinkers or problems I will buy again if avail.

I tested Heatrs against lignetics, pennington, greentree, and olympus. Heaters came in 2nd after olympus but at almost 2 bucks a bag less, I'm sticking with Heatrs.

We have the petrified forest, talk about clinkers!

Actually, in the higher elevations of Arizona there are ponderosa pines, golden quaking aspen, fir, and spruce. The bag of Heatrs doesn't say what kind of wood they use. I bet Al Borland could tell.

I almost forgot, you have sharp rocks too. I've hunted in Arizona. Interesting landscape compared to Michigan. I never knew 'grass' could cut you until I took off a shooting glove and felt a blade...........
