All,

Read everything I could find, then I bought an Enviro Maxx M in Oct 2014. Stove came with a 4" OD exhaust vent tube installed. Distributor sold me some vent pipes, (BDM - Bernard Dalsin Manufacturing), for into and up the old chimney, (horizontal access through flue).

It seems the 4" exhaust tube on the stove, and the chimney trim thimble both are 4" OD or close to it.

Does this stove require an appliance adapter if I'm using a 4" ID double walled vent pipe set from BDM? Or do I need a different vent pipe set? Or do I just need a different trim thimble for the chimney insert?

Thanks in advance,

PelletJack

you should have a stove adapter.

I have an Enviro Maxx stove and have Duravent pro piping. I used an adapter on my stove.
