I have a New Rika Integra II Insert that started throwing the ER3 message after only a few months. I have run about 1 ton of Lowes Green Supreme pellets since October (yes, we started it early).

Setup:
  • Inserted into a fireplace in the living room
  • 3" flex tube all the way up the chimney
  • Not using an outside air source
  • The holes in the pot are almost always open
  • Nothing obstructing the air intake vents on the front of the stove.
  • I changed the Cleaning cycle from 60 minutes to 30 hoping it would clean the pot more and allow more air in but it hasn't made much of a difference
Is there anything I can change or test?
I did buy a ton of Pennington pellets but didn't see much of a difference burning those either.

The stove was new and installed in August so please don't tell me to do an annual cleaning since I've barely burned a ton in this stove.

I have other questions, but I'd like to keep the stove on for longer than 24 hours first. What am I doing wrong?

Tried finding your manual and the meaning of the ER3 message - no luck. What does that error message mean?

Since it is new and would still be under warranty, why not call the dealer?

I did find the manual but it doesn't list what the ER3 error code is.
Most of us will do a breakdown cleaning of our stoves after 1 ton Green Supremes are known for their high ash content and a cleaning is even more desirable at this point
