Daylight saving time has me completely farked for last minute firewood. I work 11 hour days, and go to work and come home in the dark. I have almost a cord of dead and down wood that needs to be bucked and stacked. I need to spend my weekends getting more, not cutting what I have.

Can anyone recommend a head lamp light or something similar that puts out enough lumens to where I can buck in the dark?

Could you put up some outside lighting or run a generator with sufficient lighting? I would think you would want to avoid shadows, so I would recommend some LED spotlights. I believe Wildcat/Surefire make some great LED headlamps.

I use this one and it works very well. Runs a long time on AAA's and I use rechargeables.

My dad decided my christmas present this year was to get 100A service to my barn (I already had the conduit ran to it, but SCORE!!!) and I'm putting up two 300w halogen lights.Woo hoo!
