So I've got a refurbished P61 from a buddy. Its been running fine up until today.

The control board that was on the stove was missing the feed rate knob and turning the other knob to off did not turn the stove off. So I replaced the board with a new one today and no matter what setting I have the stove on it will only run in a super low pilot mode.

I'm scratching my head because it was running just fine prior to the new board. I'm guessing that I may have to play with the dipswitch settings on the board.

My stove has a black ESP wire probe.

As of right now I have the number 5 and 6 dipswitch both set to on as the paper told me.

Now my second question is, the old board had a connector on it for the feed sensor wires (red and black) with a gray covering. The new board does not have anywhere to plug these into. I'm so confused because the board I got is supposed to be the correct one.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Do you have the auto/manual switch set to auto?

How clean is your venting? If the stove can not breath right it will not allow a good fire. Pictures would help us a lot in this case of your board and extra wires.

I know you have to be careful of wire color on the ESP when doing a board change. I'm thinking the most up to date board takes a red wired ESP but don't quote me on that. There are people here who will know .

Yeah the pipe is nice and clean as is the stove. The augur timing is just very very slow now. Ill take some pics later on this evening for you guys

Another question. On the new board there is a round white plastic wheel sitting on a blue piece. What is this for since its also not on my old board?

Exhaust fan trim pot.

Thanks guys. I decided to put the old board back in to get it back up and running ANDDD now its still running pretty low. The stove is clean as a whistle as is the piping. Its still feeding very slow. Its not like its burning too fast or too slow, its just got whacky timing timing. It feeds for about 6 to 7 seconds every 35 seconds or so. Its set at feed rate 4 and stove temp 3.5 to 4. Im so confused with this. Everything was perfectly fine before I messed with replacing the board. Shoulda just left it as is until spring!
