Yeah, yeah, Necro post. Has anyone else tried a gasket between the burnpot and the cradle? Mine teeters a little bit and my "volcano" is'nt quite complete all the way around. Thanks!
 
Haven't tried it but haven't needed to. The only problem I would see is the igniter hole in the burn pot won't line up with the igniter tube.
 
I'll worry about it next summer. My door gasket doesn't pass the "dollar bill test" either, but I don't want to mess with it right now as it is winter and the stove is cranking out heat.

I had a similar issue with the burnpot teetering. I ended up taking a plastic mallet to the burnpot cradle and massaged the high spot out of it. I also filed the underside of the burnpot so now it sits completely flat.
 
I have a 25 EP 2014 manufacture date , burn premium pellets and had the clinker build u talked of , ect ect ...... Mike advised raising my LBA to 5 , BIG difference , now hardly any buildup atall .
