I've burned about 10 bags so far. Not bad, I've burned better and worse. Reasonable amount of ash in the pan but more buildup on the exchangers than I would like and it seems to be a bit tougher to clean off.

I burned a couple bags, at $7 a pop:eek:

Pellet length good, longest 3/4". Fines minimal. Dust minimal. Color, very light, identical to S Pointes. Ash, nothing crazy, average I'd say. I've burned MUCH worse. Ash tended to hang out in the pot a bit. Again, I've burned MUCH worse. Heat, yes. They burned nicely. Fairly decent pellet for $250. For $300, I'd pass.

I have sent 7 of the 10 bags I bought from Lowes through my Santa Fe. My general impression is that they are terrible. They would hardly light, they were very dirty and not much heat. They seemed good at first but when the 20 degree weather got here they just didn't heat very well. I thought there was something wrong with the stove it was so bad. After a good cleaning and a bag of Energex it proved to me that it was the pellets. I'll stick with the Energex for now. I may keep them for the shoulder season unless I need them for an icy driveway....

Lowes in Dartmouth,Ma had these today. I bought 3 bags to try because I am extremely hesitant on anything Inferno. Put a bag in at about noon today.
My first impression is that they are a little warmer than the regular infernos. I am noticing a whitish ashy film buildup though. Fines were ok and the ash in general is about avg.
IMHO I would prob pass. More of a shoulder pellet. At just under $6 bag I think there are better options out there.

Burned a couple of bags just to try, decent amount of heat and ash, most of the pellets are very small and burn rather quickly...but at 6.99 a bag it's not worth it.
