Yep Morso 1125. Ugly color but not too bad a heater if you wanted a fireplace too.

I thought so. So an optional screen fits into the bottom part? I don't mind the color, kinda funky.

Apparently so, but burning with a screen is less efficient, like a fireplace is. If you want the screen, it might be easier to drive to NH and get it with the stove, rather than try to track down a separate screen.

wow, that's $225 less than the other one. we've been to Pelham, NH for a graduation party, nephew's girlfriend lives there. more interesting at that price...

The color is so early 60s. I saw one in blue recently on Craigslist.

if i had the choice, i'd take the green over blue.

I wish, we're on our second "new and improved" fridge. The old ones seem to last forever.

The fridge or the stove?

The stove!! He had a beautiful red morso just like that one in the center of our living room. We barely used it because it was an inferno of blazing heat. We also had a smaller morso cigar burner style in another part of the house that was our workhorse

When I decided I needed a stove a few months ago I toyed with the idea of hunting down one of these fireplaces but then I got suckered in by the promise of efficiency and BTUs offered by the new stoves. This thread is making me doubt my choice :)

Yes, I'd go with black.
