Fell at work and dropped a 30' 70lbs ladder on my back. Broke my scapula. Not gonna be easy. Thankfully i have 2-3 weeks worth of wood next to the stove. Them the breaks I guess.

That sucks. I know that I am pig headed when it comes to listening to the doc, but do as they say and you will heal better and faster than if you don't.

You still have one good arm, right??;)

Anyone to help you? Wife, kids etc??

same here for being pig headed. Sling lasted 12 hours and tossed. I'll get it done. Wife won't be happy but o well.

Scapula is a very important bone for range of motion and strength. I'd be sure to let it heal correctly.

Dude - as much as I like to "man up", age is telling me that I might not have been the smart one.

The scapula is a very important bone. Keep the arm in a sling and slow down. Nature just gave you a wake up call.

Hope it heals well and fully. Take care of yourself.

Mother Nature is definitely mean when it comes to wake up calls.
