Can someone provide me with a good source for 3" OAK flexible pipe?

I just had my 2nd XXV stove installed this week. The dealer who is overall really great did not install the OAK, even though it was part of the agreement we had. I had it in the emails i sent to him but it never made it into the official contract. He gave me the speech about how its not necessary ..... blah blah blah.

ANYWAY rather than piss in the well i'm going to do it my self. So check me here and let me know if i am crazy or missing anything?.

I had a freestanding XXV placed in front of my fireplace. My plan here is to get some 3" flexible tubing and run it down the clean-out in the bottom of the fireplace to the basement, out the clean out door, then out the wall in the basement. it would be about a 12' - 15' run over all. It would all be in the furnace room so aesthetics really don't matter.

All i need is the pipe a couple pipe clamps and the wall vent. Where can i order good stuff online?

Auto parts stores carry flex metal. As long as you get so many feet away from stove, you can switch to pvc pipe. kap

Cheaper solution would be 3" snap together metal ducting.
I found mine at Home Depot.
Something like this.

They have all the adapters and different bends you might need.
I had to make up a critter cap for mine from 1/4"x1/4" hardware cloth.

IIRC My Oak cost me around $20.00 but I only had to run it about 3' out the wall.

I got my 3" flexible ducting from lowes, comes in 8' sections. Its fairly thin though. I wonder if the pipe nailer listed might have been better. I did use the 90º elbows made for that pipe I believe for the turn into the wall.

Doing what you want routing it around I'd use the 3" ridged flex aluminum. Bought mine at Lowe's for $9- $10 bucks. Clamps where about $1.39 each X 2 for me. Ridged 3" snap pipe would require elbows etc; It is about $3.00 for 3 feet at Lowe's also. Home Depot should have it too or other hardware stores possibly.

Granger.com has 3" flex in various lengths up to 30'. Priced well too. That is where I bought my 22' run from.

Grainger carries a lot of stuff. Good call! My local one has vent pipe, thimbles, some replacement parts etc; Might have to cross reference but they are the same and way cheaper on a lot of stuff I have found. Going there tomorrow as a matter of fact.
