NM here. With daily high temps running 10-15F above normal this year, I'm only burning morning fires to take the chill off.

But I think he was looking for southeastern forum members, not just southern.

I know we've had folks on in the past from TX and I also recall one or two coming in from GA. (The USA one, not the former USSR one)

Hmmm... You might want to check your profile - it shows you living in LA  :red:

The profile is correct. Down here LA stands for Lower Alabama

Ahhh... OK, Not a problem, though most folks not in Lower Alabama seem to think of LA as standing for something more California based... I had thought it was one of those "Dyslexics of the world, Untie!" sort of things. (LA / AL) :red:

Was I dreaming, or did we have a guy write in a couple of times from McMurdo station? I thought it was this forum, but could have been some other. Searching for McMurdo doesn't bring up anything.

True, I don't believe he was actually burning there, but made some comments about what they do in general for warmth, day-to-day life, etc. It was either a very lucid dream, or maybe some other forum.
