No clue on daily cost but considering I have $45 a month on auto pay to DTE and when I get my bill I trend towards 2-5$ ahead year round I think they are cheaper to run than a furnace.
I have an eco fan on the top of my stove. I run my furnace fan to mix up the heat. Seems to work out nice. Have a resolute acclaim in the basement. The house is a smaller ranch that's about 1000 sq feet. I cut in two return grills in the ceiling above the stove that works out good.
