Hello I am new to this site and wood burning stoves....
I was given a russo number 2 cw or at least thats what it says on the tag in the back
However, when i try to look it up (#2 cw) it doesn't look the same ...
It looks like i have the #1 cw ..
I cannot find the manual for the life of me and to tell you the truth I'm not even sure which one i have

the stove i have has the two spikes that can be removed from the glass view,
the flu exit is out the back and has a lever built in for the damper
It looks like i can hook up a fan to it but fan is not there

Please if anyone knows anything i would really appreciate it

thanks in advance
john

Look on the back of the stove for the UL label. That should identify the stove model. Russo made combo wood coal units. The CW might indicate that this may be one. You might try the www.nepacrossroads.com forum for info on this stove. They are coal focused.

Yeah , on the back i just realized that that it says (number 2 coal wood combination) as the model number so you right
this entire time i have been looking at the #2 cw model
But do you know where i can get manual for this

yes it does and thanks for the reply with that link but that is such an old thread but i did try to leave a message to one of the guys so we will see.
and I'm sure now i have a russo #2 cwc wich is a combo
where else can i get this manual

thanks so much for posting ,,, printing as we speak ,, only ? i have is that i don't have a lever handle on the side of my stove
does this mean i have a different unit? on the back of my stove it says (number 2 coal wood combination)
and also I'm putting new gaskets in the door and ash door ,,, I'm using the paper trick to see how tight it is and was wondering how tight does it have to be ? i put a dollar bill in the door and some spots i can pull the bill through but not super easy to do thanks again
