Wehave a Harman P68 that was our first stove in 2008. We maintain it pretty well and it was just cleaned a week ago. When coming home from dinner all was well with the stove. 45 min later it was completely off. No fans no fire and I realized this because our stove is downstairs and I smelled smoke. I can't imagine what went wrong. There is no blinking error status either. I unplugged the stove and turned it back on, no fan no nothing. Any ideas?
Stove just stopped out of no where!! Help?!

How comfortable are you with electricity? Could try and power the fan directly with a old fan cord with terminals put on to match the fans terminals.
Oh boy, I think that's above me. I'm a female that knows nothing about electric. I have trouble shot other problems with help from this forum but I just don't understand this one. I literally walked by it working fine and 45 min later smelled smoke and it was completely off and it's been working fine all season.

Thanks anyways. I'll be calling the dealer in the morning. Merry Christmas to him with his $100 fee just for pulling in the driveway. It will be a cold night, we will have to pretend we are winter camping. The propane tank checker (me) is fired. For the 2nd time in 14 yrs I forgot to check it (last checked the end of October) and its at 1 % so we won't be turning the furnace on.
please help, I seem to be in the same boat came home today and found p-68 stove not working, power lamp on and combustion fan lamp on constantly when stove plugged in, but fan not running. with stove switch in off position when I put it in test mode, distribution fan and light come on as well. if I put it in room temp or stove temp modes and put it in test the distribution light comps on for a millisecond and hear a slight click lick a relay opening. at no time do the feed motor or igniter lamps come on. put direct power to auger motor and motor worked. put direct power to combustion fan and did not work. seems likely combustion motor bad what other things could cause this and need to be tested before I change out just the combustion motor. I would like this to be a one shot fix so if some other sensor might be bad causing this or causing the fan motor to go bad I would like to fix them now. thanks for any assistance, mtk

If the fan did not work with direct power then that would not allow the vacuum switch to complete the auger circuit etc. Will probably have to cut shaft from the fan and replace the fan as well as the motor. Good luck and Welcome

What blower? What lights lit. Makes no sense. You have two fans. Which came on in test?
