I'm on my 4th winter with this insert and the automatic snapstat has been working great, until now. I know that this is a common issue. Fans are working on manual, but if I switch to auto they go off. Stovetop has been at about 700 degrees for an hour now. I did make sure to clear ash away from the front middle where the snapstat sits. Wondering what else others have done to fix? Or should I just replace?

Yep, replace it. They seem to have a 2-4 yr life on stoves.

Mine is not working either. I just had this stove installed this fall. I believe that mine has moved in the bracket and needs to be adjusted. I have spoken with my stove shop and they said that they will replace under warranty. I am thinking about pulling out my stove and playing with it to see if it maybe just came loose. I will report back. BTW, I have a freestanding stove (F55) that is recessed in a fireplace.

snap stats are notorious for failure
