Less than 1 hour after reloading with good seasoned wood, stovetop temp up to 525, the secondaries just went out. Temp is holding @ 500. Even with no visible secondary flames, at 500 degrees, am I polluting my chimney with creosote?
 
Open your primary air a bit see if you get any flames going. It's hard say if your wood is still offgasing. I say proboably still is.

I did, and secondaries kicked off again. Must've shut down prim air little too much, a little too soon. Thanks.
 
No problem. Don't ask how I knew it...
 
Adding your stove and location to your signature is going to help.

With out it, we're running blind.
