Vacuum hose is soft and pliable good, but is it firmly attached at both ends and clear?

Remove the end at the switch and blow towards the stove.

As a test you could try the unit with that switch jumped after we first try it after making sure that the hose is clear all the way to the stove.

If we get to the point of trying things with the switched jumped it should only be done as a test and you do not leave the room with the stove running for any reason as that vacuum switch is the most important electrical safety on the stove.

We are also going to visit your gaskets in particular the door gasket and any ash pan gasket we are going to do the dollar bill test on two separated places on each side of the two items.

I am going to want to know if your combustion blower comes up to speed with no funny noises.

Yup follow smokeys advice times 2.
