I have benefited greatly from many of your comments and experiences as I searched for the right stove insert. I wanted to share my own experience with my new Enerzone Solution 2.3-I stove.
We purchased the stove new from a local builders supply store. Of the many stoves they had available they recommend this one for our needs. We did all of the work of install ourselves. Our home is small, approximately 1000 s.f. and the fireplace is centrally located. We installed a new pre-insulated flexible stainless steel liner in an existing chimney that had multiple issues. We had to do a lot of preparation work on both the firebox and hearth due to the old age of our converted hunting lodge home. We are very very pleased with our purchase. It heats our home very nicely and evenly. The included blower does a great job and is not noisy at all. One thing I have read in past articles that we have not experienced is the clouding of the glass door. Yes, we have cleaned it infrequently with wet newspaper but it stays clean the vast majority of the time and allows us to enjoy the fire. The stainless steel tubes in the top of the firebox as well as the glass in the door are guaranteed for life. The draft control is simple and we have not experienced any smoke coming out in the room when replenishing wood. Hope this helps someone else contemplating a purchase of this particular name brand.

Good to hear this about the Enerzone 2.3. It's an SBI stove that we hear less about. Thanks for posting.

That's good to hear. This unit hasn't had much exposure around here. I've installed a bunch of Enerzone products and have always been impressed, both with quality and performance.

I have a solution 2.9 and have been satisfied with it as well. You dont see too many of the enerzone units on here, but there are quite a few other SBI stoves on here. We heat with ours full time, and clean the glass about once a week or so. I've never had it get cloudy unless someone brings wet wood in.
