Greetings,

My stove is an Englander 25-PDVC / 55-SHP10.

I have seen threads that reference other or past threads about the bottom 3 buttons but I have not found any description of what they control and or the settings. As everyone knows the user's manual is really annoying in its non-description of these controls.

Last night I had controls set on 1-1 and burned a hopper full in less than 9 hours so I was hoping I could slow things down a little. This seems high as a friend has a different brand stove but a bag of pellets lasts her almost two days on low. It also puts out way too much heat on low and the flame is almost to the top of the firebox.

Thanks,
jh

In your hopper there is an adjustable metal plate covering the auger opening , am assuming its wide open , try closing it half way to start , this will slow yur pellet consumption down considerable . The 3 lower buttons , are factory set at 6-4-1, they are LFF , Low Fuel Feed set at 6, controls rate pellets are fed to firebox , LBA, Low Burn Air set at 4 controls combustion air being blown into yur burn pot and AOT, Air on Temp set at 1 controls temp when yur room blower turns on , dont mess with the AOT leave it set at 1. .To check and or adjust , say the LBA , push the LBA and the number should appear in the blower readout window , adjust by pushing both heat range and blower arrows at same time either up or down check the others the same way. Some run 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 I have learned to adjust the stove to the pellet as no brand burns the same but stick with the a premium grade pellet , pellet stoves are happy when clean and air tight , so keep it clean and as air tight as possible . Hope that helps
