Envir maxx -1 another problem
After replacing my auger motor a month ago. Started my stove yesterday which I keep cleaned all the time startup went well had a good flame. This is the first time this has happen in the 3 seasons I owed. Then convention blower did not start. Checked the stove because I didn't hear it running after 10 minutes or so. It's in the basement my basement door is always open when running. Had to hit the off and on button to get to start. I now have done this twice. Question: Is it the circuit board???

Yea I'm green working on stove but learning. POF. proof of fire and is that the ceramic fan temp sensor with wires coming out of it with 2 screws. If so I can take that out and clean. That's next to the combustion blower correct.

That is it!
I like to replace those Enviro mini snaps with a full size snap disc . Like those compact spare tires on a car!

Sweet. Will clean in the morning. Then post thxs guys

So I took off the 2 back panels then the side panel after numerous try's to get the flat disc pof or the ceramic fan sensor off after taking off the 2 screws this piece will not come off. Is there a trick. Thxs

They can be stuck with crud
gently pry up with screw driver alternating
between ends where screws attach this
rocking motion should pop out.

Will do. Again. I'm thinking very flat putty knife and will purchase one tomorrow. I tried the screw driver but couldn't get under it. Also tried pliers just graping the ceramic piece that didn't work not good ideas w/o replacement part. And that's what I'm thinking replacement part of putty knife doesn't work. Thank you very much

I had this exact same problem with my Maxx a couple of years ago, I thought it was the circuit board too and had it replaced (under warranty). Problem came back the following year (maybe 25% of the time upon startup, convection fan would not turn on after startup cycle - no flashing #3 or anything like that).

I fixed this issue by removing the POF sensor as well and cleaning the crud off of it, like was posted earlier - I haven't had this problem since. There was some built up carbon on it, not a lot - but I guess enough to insulate that sensor. Once I removed the two screws, I used a razor blade to gently get inbetween the sensor and the combustion housing which it is attached too - it came of easily. It was stuck on there with some red (rtv?) liquid gasket material from the factory or something. I make it a habit now of removing this sensor at the end of the season and cleaning it off, I put it back on with the same sealant I use on my exhaust piping. Hope this helps

Yep. You describe it perfect. Will follow your advice. Thank you much
