yeah we have replacement prom chips, i suspect its the issue either its not seated cleanly or its faulty
Okay. I didnt try to remove and reinstall it, but I did apply light pressure to it and it didn't move. I'll call tomorrow, if I don'tspeak to you, will another sales rep know what i'm talking about?
 
Good tip on calling englander. Call at 8 on the dot in the am so your not on hold for 45 min... And all the guys down at ESW are good They will walk you threw everything. It's a good group of guys down there
 
Jason, don't order the chip just yet, wait til the board has been tested this end.

No plans ordering It, I was trying to look ahead a little bit.

if they dont they will ask me i assume, just let them know you have been communicating with me
 
Not to bump an oold thread but if anyone runs into this same problem and needs the prom chip this is Englanders part# PU-C-B-C and they are reasonably priced.
